Neerabh Kumar Prasad, a 1987 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, took charge as Andhra Pradesh’s chief secretary on Friday, hours after the state government appointed him as the state’s top bureaucrat to replace KS Jawahar Reddy.
Prasad thanked Chandrababu Naidu for the opportunity and vowed to do his best to implement the new government’s development and welfare programmes.
