Sushil Kumar Singh named Chairperson of Deendayal Port Authority

The government has appointed Sushil Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary in charge of Ports/PPP and PHRD in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways as the Chairman of Deendayal Ports Authority (formerly Kandla Port).  Sushil Singh is a 1993 batch officer of the Indian Railway Mechanical Engineering Service (IRSME) - one of the Group 'A' Central Engineering Services of the Indian Railways.  He will replace SK Mehta who stepped down in April after a five-year term.
