Indian Army sets up tank repair facility near China border, move after stalemate

The Indian Army has created a record of sorts by setting up the two tallest tank repair facilities in the world with the deployment of over 500 of its tanks and infantry fighting vehicles in eastern Ladakh.  The Indian Army has set up two armored vehicle maintenance and repair facilities at an altitude of over 14,500 feet in Nyoma and DBO sectors near the China border.
It is the world's highest battlefield for tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.  India has deployed a large number of tanks and BMP fighting vehicles as well as Indian-made armored vehicles like Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicles in eastern Ladakh following the stalemate caused by China's aggression in April-May 2020.
