The Pulitzer Prize, awarded by Columbia University, is awarded for contributions to literature, journalism, magazines and music. These honors are for U.S. citizens only. In 2024, the prize for poems in literature went to Brendan Som for his book Tripas. In fiction to Jane L. Flip for Night Watch, in drama to Abony Booth for Prime Trust, in history to Jacqueline Jones, in autobiography to Johnathan Igg and Ilean Wu, in memoir to Christina Rivera Garza and in non-fiction to Nathan Thrall this year has been honored.
