Rajiv Gauba will head the Union Government Committee on LGBTQ Community

The Government of India has constituted a committee on welfare of LGBTQ+ communities under the chairmanship of Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba.  In Supriyo Chakraborty v. Government of India case 2023, the committee has been constituted by the Government on the suggestion of the Supreme Court.
