Saurabh Garg (IAS) got additional charge as MoSPI Secretary

IIAS officer Saurabh Garg was appointed as additional charge of Secretary, MoSPI. 1994 batch IAS officer Vivek Agarwal extended his tenure as director of FIU-India. Their role contributes to combating financial crimes and money laundering in India. The appointment reflects Garg’s expertise in public administration.
 MoSPI plays an important role in collecting and analyzing statistical data.
 The Ministry supports informed policy formulation and decision making.
 Garg assigned the task of ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of operations of MoSPI.
