The fourth match of the five-match Test series between India and England is being played at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.  In the match, England won the toss and chose to bat first.  On the first day of the match (23 February), Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin created history by dismissing Jonny Bairstow LBW.
Actually R.  Ashwin has become the fourth player in the world who, apart from taking 100 wickets, has also scored a thousand runs in a Test match against England.  Before Ashwin, only Gary Sobers, George Giffen and Monty Noble were able to achieve such unique success.
Ashwin has dismissed right handers 252 times so far.  At the same time, he has dismissed left-handed batsmen 250 times.  Be it right handers or left handers, Ashwin never shows any mercy to the opposition batsmen.  However, getting Ashwin to play proves to be a difficult task for left-handed batsmen.
