Valley of Flowers of Uttarakhand got international recognition, UNESCO declared it a world heritage

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami signed a memorandum of understanding to promote mutual cooperation in the field of management of protected areas, resource management and environmental education between Uttarakhand and Slovenia in Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana.  CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has described the agreement between Valley of Flowers National Park of Uttarakhand and Triglav National Park of Slovenia as an effort to give recognition to the state's biodiversity at the world level.
Both these national parks of Uttarakhand have been declared World Natural Heritage by UNESCO.  This will definitely give new recognition to Uttarakhand's contribution in forest and protected area management at the global level.  There is a wave of happiness in both the countries after the Valley of Flowers National Park of Uttarakhand and Triglav National Park of Slovenia got the status of World Heritage.  To receive this honour, Uttarakhand's wildlife protector Sameer Sinha reached Slovenia's capital, Ljubljana and received this honor for Uttarakhand there.
