Newsdesk:
Now Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta will be taught in the schools of Gujarat.  A resolution regarding this has been passed in the Gujarat Assembly.  While giving information, Gujarat Minister of State for Education Prafulla Pansheriya said that Gita will be taught to the students from class 6th to 12th sequentially.  Geeta is an ideology all over the world.  Geeta is a path.  This proposal received bipartisan support in the Assembly.  Aam Aadmi Party MLAs also supported it and Congress, despite initial objections, voted on the issue and ultimately the resolution was passed in the Assembly.
Minister of State for Education Prafulla Pansheriya further said that from the new session, Bhagavad Geeta will be taught in the schools of the state from class 6 to 12.  Director of SS School, Prateek Bhati says that the learning done in the school is done through explanation only.  As soon as the text is taught, the text of Geeta will also be taught.  Like any special religion, we will not have any problem in adopting or teaching it.  Because Srimad Bhagavad Gita is not for any one religion, it teaches something or the other to all the religions.  Every generation gets some message from him.  Students of classes 9 to 12 will experience the teachings of Srimad Bhagavad Gita through their first language textbooks.
