The 69th edition of the Filmfare Awards took place on Sunday in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. While Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Manish Paul hosted the award show, all the big stars of Bollywood were also seen at the event.
Vikrant Massey starrer '12th Fail' and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' were among the best in the Filmfare Awards 2024 held to honor the films released last year. Both the films won 5-5 awards. This occasion was special for Bollywood's popular couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as both the actors won the 'Best Actor' award in their respective categories.
Vikrant Massey's surprise hit 12th Fail impressed the awards jury a lot. For this film, Vikrant not only received the Critic's Choice Award for 'Best Actor', filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra was also chosen as 'Best Director'.
