The Ram temple being built in Ayodhya is to be inaugurated in January. Before this, there has been tremendous growth in the realty sector of Ayodhya. The prices of land in and around the temple have increased by 12 times to 20 times.
Especially the land rates around Chaudah Kosi Parikrama, Ring Road, Lucknow-Gorakhpur Highway are skyrocketing. Construction work is also going on at a rapid pace here. The reason for this is that by the end of 2024, the number of tourists may increase four to five times to 4-5 crores.
According to data from Ayodhya's Stamp and Registration Department, property registrations have increased by more than four times between 2017-18 and 2021-22. As-
- Around 6000 land deals took place in 2017-18
- 15000 in 2018-19
- 17000 in 2019-20
- 20000 in 2020-21
- More than 24000 in 21-22
The land which was easily available for Rs 1,000 per square foot four years ago, is not available even for Rs 12,000 per square foot today. The price of 1350 square feet land around Chaudah Kosi Parikrama has increased from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 65 lakh. The prices of land near the Ring Road have increased twenty times.
Ramnagari 'Ayodhya' is not only getting decorated but is also getting ready to write a new chapter in the development of the state. Ayodhya will also prove to be a milestone in the industrial development of UP.
