India is the biggest history maker in the world of space.  ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 is waiting to land on the moon.  If all goes according to schedule, the Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander will make a soft landing on the lunar surface at 6.40 pm on August 23.  ISRO scientists claim that no matter what happens, the landing will continue.  This confidence could make India the only country in the world to land on the moon's south pole.

 India is very close to making history in space.  Just 25 km from the moon, Chandrayaan-3 is waiting for sunrise at the South Pole.  ISRO is now waiting for 5.45 pm on August 23. At this time the sun will have risen in the part of the moon where the landing is.  The lander will start descending to the moon at 5:45 pm and is expected to make a soft landing at 6:4 pm.
