OMG 2 hit the century in 9 days, Akshay Kumar reached the equal of Salman in giving 100 crore films

After seeing the failure of 5 consecutive films, Akshay Kumar, who arrived in theaters with OMG 2, has been given such love by the audience that he has now set a record.  'OMG 2', which opened in theaters last Friday, is doing well.  The film, which has grossed Rs 85 crore in its first week, also made a strong start to its second week.
 With a solid jump to second Friday, 'OMG 2' started the new week strong too.  It looked like the film was going to have a good jump in earnings on Saturday.  But the kind of jump that came in the 'OMG 2' collection on Saturday is a pretty powerful feat in itself.  The amazing effect is that the film has crossed a major box office milestone.
 On Friday, Akshay's film had collected Rs 6 crore at the box office.  Now trade reports are suggesting that the film's gross on Saturday has jumped by more than 75%.  The film has grossed Rs 10 to 11 crore on its 9th day at the box office.  After Friday's gross, the film's total collection was just over Rs 91 crore.  With Saturday's gross, the film has easily collected over Rs 100 crore.
