Alexander Lukashenko threatens nuclear strike: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has threatened to use nuclear weapons in response to provocations by NATO allies on his border.  “The slightest aggression will not be tolerated in our borders,” Lukashenko said, eyeing the US and Europe.  We are free to make any decision to protect ourselves.'
Lukashenko's comments were aimed at Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, which had expressed their concerns against Belarus for providing sanctuary to Wagner troops .  "We have not brought nuclear weapons here to intimidate anyone," Lukashenko told BelTA.  These are tactical nuclear weapons, not strategic.  If Poland, Lithuania and Latvia take an aggressive stance against us, we will respond with everything we have.  We will not hesitate to use our entire arsenal of weapons to defend ourselves.'
