Atal Bihari Vajpayee's death anniversary today, President Murmu, PM Modi and many VVIPs including 'Sadaiv Atal' paid tributes

Today is the 5th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.  The country is paying homage to him.  President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and other leaders paid tributes to 'Sadaiv Atal' on Wednesday.  VVIPs remembered 'Atalji' and offered flowers.
 Speaker Om Birla and Home Minister Amit Shah also arrived at the Samadhi Sthal.  Other BJP leaders and ministers along with leaders of NDA allies also attended the tributes.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted a tribute to Vajpayee on his death anniversary.  "India has benefited a lot from his leadership," Modi said.  He played an important role in promoting India's progress and taking it into the 21st century in many areas.  "On behalf of 1.4 billion people of India, I pay tribute to Atal Ji on his death anniversary," he said.
