Chandrayaan-3: Leaves Earth orbit and moves towards the moon Chandrayaan-3, August 5 is a crucial day

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Tuesday successfully launched the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft from Earth orbit towards the moon.  "Chandrayaan-3 has completed the Earth orbit and is now heading towards the moon," ISRO said in a statement.
ISRO said the ISTRAC (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network) successfully launched the perigee.  After which the spacecraft has started its journey to the moon.  The next step is the moon.  On August 5, 2023, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft will enter lunar orbit.  The spacecraft will then orbit the moon by August 16.  On August 17, the lander will separate from the propulsion module 100 kilometers above the lunar surface.  Chandrayaan-3 is scheduled to land on the lunar surface at 5.47 pm on August 23 .
