3 athletes from Assam in Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships

The Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships are being held in Noida from July28.  The tournament was held at Gautam Buddha University, Noida.

 The three players who represented the country in the tournament were Siddhant Gogoi, Bedbrat Bharali and Kapil Sonwal respectively.  Siddhant Gogoi will compete in the junior category while Bedbrat Bharali and Kapil Sonwal will compete in the youth category.

 The three Assamese had earlier won gold medals in the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships held in Noida from July 11 to16.
