A mysterious object has been found on the Green Head coast of Western Australia, leading to speculation that it could be debris associated with the Chandrayaan-3 launched from India. Chandrayaan-3 was launched at 2.35 pm on Friday. The 642-tonne, 43.5-metre-high rocket LVM-3 carrying Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center at Sriharikota. Notably, the trajectory was seen passing over the continent in the Australian sky.
Twitter is speculating that the mysterious object could be one of the spent stages of LVM-3 . However, the Australian Space Agency has not confirmed this. The Indian Space Agency has also remained silent. It could also be a spent stage of some old PSLV launch from India.
The Australian Space Agency in a series of tweets, said it was inquiring about the object found on the beach. The agency tweeted: 'We are currently making inquiries regarding this object found on a beach near Jurian Bay in Western Australia. It may be connected to an alien space launch vehicle. We are liaising with global counterparts who may be able to provide more information.'
