The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) once again launched its third mission to deliver Earth's only satellite to the moon after four years.  Fat Boy’s LVM-M4 rocket took off from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota at exactly 2.35 pm carrying Chandrayaan-3  Minutes after launch, MLV-M4 successfully carried Chandrayaan-3 into Earth orbit, ISRO said.  Chandrayaan-3 then separated from the launch rocket and began its journey to the Moon.  Chandrayaan-3 will take about 50 days to land on the lunar surface.  According to ISRO, it could land on the lunar surface by August 23 or
 If ISRO's mission to make a 'soft landing' on the moon is successful, India will join the list of select countries that have been able to do so.  In late August, the Chandrayaan-3 lander will land on the moon with the rover.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to France, extended his best wishes for the third Chandrayaan mission and said that the day of July 14, 2023 will always be inscribed in golden letters in Indian space and it will further the hopes and dreams of the nation.
