Lucknow's 'rocket woman' leading the Chandrayaan-3 mission

Today is going to be a very important day for India.  The eyes of the entire world are on India.  Today, India will launch Chandrayaan-3 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center at Sriharikota at 2.35 pm.  The Chandrayaan-3 lander, rover and propulsion module carry a total of six payloads.  But most importantly, the mission is being led from the front by space scientist Ritu Karidhal Srivastava, known as 'Rocket Woman'.
Ritu Karidhal, a female scientist, has been given the responsibility of landing Chandrayaan-3.  Ritu Karidhal will be the Mission Director of Chandrayaan-3.  Lucknow-based Indian women are an example of growing reputation in the world of meteorology.  Ritu, who has shown her skills in the Mars rover mission, will take another successful flight with Chandrayaan-3  Ritu Karidhal Srivastava has been given this responsibility in view of his role in the previous mission.  Ritu is the Deputy Operations Director of Mangalyaan Mission.  Lucknow's daughter Ritu came into the spotlight when she was the mission director in Chandrayaan-Mission 2 .
