Chandrayaan-3 will be launched from Sriharikota at 2.30 pm. The Vikram lander will make a soft landing at the south pole of the moon on August 23-24. If the lander makes a soft landing at the South Pole, India will become the first country in the world to reach the South Pole.
India's Moon-Man and Chandrayaan-1 Mission Director Dr. Mayalaswamy Annadurai described Chandrayaan-3 as a very important mission. "India has proved its technical capability in the lunar orbit.
