Chandrayaan 3 Launch : Chandrayaan-3 to be launched today,

Chandrayaan-3 will be launched from Sriharikota at 2.30 pm.  The Vikram lander will make a soft landing at the south pole of the moon on August 23-24.  If the lander makes a soft landing at the South Pole, India will become the first country in the world to reach the South Pole.
India's Moon-Man and Chandrayaan-1 Mission Director Dr.  Mayalaswamy Annadurai described Chandrayaan-3 as a very important mission.  "India has proved its technical capability in the lunar orbit. Now it has to prove its capability for soft landing," he said.  Today when the whole world is looking at the moon again.  We must make this mission a success.
