BSF soldier killed in clash with Kuki rebels in Manipur

Violence in Manipur is still raging.  Sporadic violent incidents are reported daily.  The government had announced that it would deal strictly with those found in possession of weapons.  Despite the efforts of the government, the violent incidents in Manipur are not coming to an end.  A Border Security Force (BSF) soldier has been martyred in Manipur's Serou Sugnu area.
 The security forces issued a statement.  According to a statement issued by the security forces, firing took place with the Kuki rebels in Serou area of ​​Sugnu police station area of ​​Kakching district on the night of June 5 and  According to the statement, suspected Kooki rebels attacked Serou Practical High School in Suganu police station area at around 4:15 am.
 BSF personnel were reportedly deployed at Serou Practical High School.  Suspected Kuki rebels opened fire on BSF personnel.  BSF personnel also retaliated.  Gunfire erupted between the suspected Kuki rebels and the BSF personnel.  A BSF personnel was injured in the firing from both sides.
 BSF jawan Ranjit Yadav, who was injured in the firing with suspected Kuki rebels, was rushed to Jeevan Hospital in Kakching for immediate treatment.  Doctors declared the injured soldier dead.  The government has interned in Manipur in view of the ongoing violence
