Sports Desk:
Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has not fared well in the last Grand Slam of her career.  Sania Mirza and her partner Ana Denilina have lost in the second round of the women's doubles.  Eighth seeds Sania Mirza and Ana Denilina were defeated 4-6, 6-4, 2-6 by Alison van Uitvank (Belgium) and Anhelina Kalinina (Ukraine) in a match that lasted two hours and one minute.  In the first round, Sania and Ana Denilin defeated Dalma Galfi and Bernarda Pera, but she could not repeat her old performance in this match.
Sania and Denilina couldn't do anything special in the first set and they lost it.  Sania-Denilina were trailing 0-3 at one point in the second set, but then Mirza and Denilina came back to win three games in a row.  In the seventh game, the two teamed up to break the opposition’s serve when Kalinina and van Van’s forehand shot went wide .  Sania and Denili then won the second set.  However, Sania and Denelina failed to maintain momentum in the third set and their serves were broken three times.
The only challenge left for Sania Mirza is in the mixed doubles where her partner is Rohan Bopanna.  Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna have also reached the second round of the mixed doubles event.  Sania-Rohan beat Australians Jamie Forlis and Luke Saville 7-5, 6-3 in straight sets in the first round.  Sania-Rohan will now face Ariel Behar and Makoto Ninomiya in the second round.
