PM Modi will flag off the world's longest river cruise, know through which cities of India-Bangladesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the world's longest river cruise in Varanasi on 13 January.  This will mark the beginning of a new era of river cruise tourism for India.  This luxury cruise will cover a distance of more than 3,200 kilometers across 27 different river systems in 5 states of India and Bangladesh.  Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal gave this information on Sunday.  Sonowal said, "Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are exploring the immense wealth that our rich river systems provide.
According to the Union Minister, the world's longest river cruise 'MV Ganga Vilas Cruise' in Varanasi has been equipped to showcase the best of the country to the world.  A 51-day cruise tour has been planned covering 50 tourist destinations including world heritage sites, national parks, river ghats, and major cities like Patna in Bihar, Sahibganj in Jharkhand, Kolkata in West Bengal, Dhaka in Bangladesh and Guwahati in Assam.
