Himachal Pradesh Diesel Price: Diesel prices have increased in Himachal Pradesh.  The Sukhu government has increased VAT on the price of diesel.  In Himachal, the Sukhu government has increased VAT on diesel by Rs 3, after which the price has now increased from Rs 83.02 per liter to Rs 86.05 per litre.  Whereas petrol is being sold at Rs 95.07 cheaper by Rs 0.55.  Whereas Maharashtra, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand are the states where fuel has become cheaper.
With this, petrol in West Bengal has increased by Rs 0.44 to Rs 107.51 and diesel has increased by Rs 0.41 to Rs 94.14 per litre.  Petrol-diesel has become costlier in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Jammu-Kashmir and Goa.  Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am and new rates are issued.  After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles from the original price.  This is the reason why we have to buy petrol and diesel so expensive.
