Indian cricket team's wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant's ligament operation was successful.  His ligament surgery was done on 6 January in Mumbai.  Dr. Pardiwala performed the ligament operation of Rishabh Pant admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital Medilak Research Institute, Mumbai.  He has been kept under observation for 3 to 4 days in this hospital in Mumbai.  Rishabh Pant was badly injured in a car accident on 30 December while going from Delhi to Roorkee.
The BCCI had informed Max Hospital that Rishabh Pant had two cuts on his forehead in the car accident.  The ligament of his right leg has been torn.  Apart from this, there is depth in the feet, back, thumb and wrist.  Now due to ligament operation, Pant will stay away from cricket for 6 to 9 months.  In such a situation, apart from the cricket series against New Zealand and Australia, he can also be out of IPL 2023.  If he takes more time to get fit, then Pant can stay out of the 2023 World Cup as well.
