Country's first female captain has been posted in the country's highest battlefield, Siachen. Udaipur is more proud because the lady captain who was appointed is a resident of Udaipur. Her name is Shiva Chauhan.
Shiva, who spent her life till now in the temperature of 6 degree, is now protecting the country in the temperature of Siachen up to -16 degree.
Let us tell you that Captain Shiva is a civil engineer. She did her schooling from St. Anthony's Private College, Udaipur. After this she entered Techno NJR Institute College of Engineering in the year 2015. Her branch was civil engineering. In four years, she participated in every program. Shiva was Miss Freshers and also became the college topper with 87%.
She was also always ahead in cultural activities, in which many excellent dance performances were also given. After college, she gave the Service Selection Board examination, in which Shiva also topped. After this, in the year 2020, the army was selected. She took training in Chennai in January 2022 and then her first posting in Siachen, where Shiva is the leader of a team.
