Senior journalist Basanta Kumar Sharma passed away

A senior journalist in the state, Basanta Kumar Sharma, 43, passed away untimely.
Sharma, a resident of Dakshinpat near Nagaon city, passed away at around 2.40 pm on Thursday after suffering from sudden high blood pressure.The late Sharma first started his journalistic career in 1996 through 'Aji Batari'.He later served as a correspondent for 'Aji' newspaper published from Guwahati, Deputy Editor of “Daily Agradoot', Chief Reporter of 'Prime News' and Chief Reporter of 'Prag News'.
He was recently involved with a news portal.
