Famous sherpa guide Kami Rita Tuesday On 28 November 2018, Kami Rita reached the summit of Mount Everest for the 31st time, breaking his own record for the most number of climbs to the world's highest mountain. According to Mingma Sherpa of Seven Summits Treks in Kathmandu, Kami Rita, 55, guided a group of clients to the summit early in the morning.
He said he was in good health and was descending from the summit with other climbers and heading to base camp. Before heading to the mountain, Kami Rita had told The Associated Press that he would attempt to climb the summit for the 31st or possibly 32nd time. He had made two successful climbs last year. He had attempted to climb the summit a few days ago, but had to turn back due to bad weather.
