On the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of UNESCO Global Geoparks (UGGPs), a total of 16 new locations from 11 countries were officially included in the Global Geoparks Network (GGN).The Global Geoparks Network (GGN) is an international non-profit organization created with the support of UNESCO.It is responsible for setting ethical guidelines and standards that all Global Geoparks are required to follow.
