The Indian Coast Guard conducted Exercise ‘Sagar Kavach’ along the 158 km coastal area of West Bengal on 21-22 February 2025 with an aim to strengthen coastal security and enhance coordination among various agencies.
Several agencies, including the Navy, BSF, CISF and local police, participated in the exercise which tested security procedures to deal with hijacking, smuggling and IED threats.
