Former Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das has now been appointed as Principal Secretary-2

Former Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das has been appointed as the Principal Secretary-2 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His term will end with the term of Prime Minister Modi. He was appointed Governor of the Reserve Bank in December 2018, and his term ends on 10 December 2024. According to the order, he will work as the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister along with Dr PK Mishra, Principal Secretary-1 to the Prime Minister.
