Ratan Tata passes away at the age of 86

Tata Sons Honorary Chairman Ratan Naval Tata passed away at the age of 86. He breathed his last around 11 pm late Wednesday.  He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital and was suffering from age-related ailments.
 Tata's body is kept at the National Center for Performing Arts (NCPA).  People will be able to pay their last respects till 4 pm.  In the evening, the funeral will be held with state honors.
 Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan awardee Ratan Tata was also reported to have been admitted to the ICU on October 7. However, it was he who denied it, saying he was fine, having reached the hospital for a routine check-up.
