PM Modi inaugurated Banjara Heritage Museum

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Banjara Heritage Museum . This five storeyed building, reflects the rich heritage of the Banjara community.
 PM Modi started his Maharashtra tour from Washim.  He played traditional drums after worship at Poharadevi temple.
 After inaugurating the Banjara Heritage Museum at Washim, the PM released the 18th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi at a function. The PM inaugurated schemes related to agriculture and livestock sector worth about Rs 23,300 crore in Washim. He inaugurated development projects in Maharashtra with a total cost of over Rs 56,000 crore.
 He also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth over Rs 32,800 crore in Thane. The Banjara Heritage Museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich heritage of the Banjara community.
 It has been established with the aim of promoting and celebrating the traditions, customs and handicrafts of the Banjaras.
