Atishi Marlena is going to become the new Chief Minister of Delhi. In a meeting of the Legislative Party at Arvind Kejriwal's residence, the Aam Aadmi Party chief herself proposed her name, which was sealed by the MLAs. Atishi, who emerged as the most powerful minister in the government after Kejriwal's jail term, is a first-time MLA from Kalkaji.
She has also played an important role in formulating Delhi's education policy. Atishi is considered a confidant of both Kejriwal and Sisodia. Atishi, who handles about 18 departments, now has good experience in administration. She has been strongly putting the party’s side before the media. By making Atishi the CM, Kejriwal has tried to win over half the population ahead of the Assembly elections.
