Gold medalist para-archer Harvinder Singh and two-time Paralympic medalist Preeti Pal will be the Indian flag bearers at the closing ceremony of the Paris Paralympic Games on Sunday.  Harvinder, 33, had made history by becoming the first Indian archer to win gold in the Paralympics.  Harvinder had earlier won a bronze medal in the Tokyo Paralympics.
Harvinder said holding the Indian flag during the closing ceremony was the highest honor he had ever dreamed of.  “Winning gold for India was a dream that has come true.  Now to have the highest honor of being the flag bearer at the closing ceremony which was my dream is coming true.  This victory belongs to all the people who put their trust in me and I hope to inspire those who want to fulfill dreams.
