Dhanush Srikanth wins three golds at World Deaf Shooting Championship

Trainee marksman Dhanush Srikanth of London Olympic medalist Gagan Narang’s Gun for Glory Shooting Academy (Hyderabad) impressed by winning three gold medals for India at the World Deaf Shooting Championships in Hannover, Germany.
The 22-year-old marksman broke the world record in qualifying for the men’s 10m air rifle event with 632.7 points.  He was ahead of fellow Indians Shaurya Saini (625) and Mohammad Wania (622.7), who finished second and third respectively in the final.
 Dhanush also won gold medals in the 10m mixed team event with Mahit Sandhu and in the 10m air rifle men’s team event with Saini and Wania, while setting world records (628.8) in both the qualifications and finals.
