ITBP officer Sanjeev Raina has appointed as ADG

The ITBP officer of 1987 batch, Sanjeev Raina has been appointed as the Additional Director General in the force which looks after the LAC with China though it is the second time that the services where IPS is not dominant have provided the top job to non-IPS men.An order issued on Wednesday from the MHA(Ministry of Home Affairs) said that Raina of the force’s central sector currently posted in Bhopal as the IG has been promoted to the rank of ADG besides IG Jaspal Singh would be for the panel year 2024.
