Union Minority Affairs Minister, Shri Kiren Rijiju launches Jiyo Parsi scheme Portal

Union Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju inaugurated the portal of “Jio Parsi” scheme.  Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kiren Rijiju emphasized on the rich heritage and culture of the Parsi community and expressed concern over the decline in population of the community and said that government intervention in the form of this special scheme would be more beneficial for the community in future  .  He urged qualified Parsi couples to take advantage of the scheme, build a strong community, and help the government build a stronger nation.The minister said a web portal for this unique scheme would enable Parsi couples to avail more benefits.  The portal will help them apply online, check the status of their application and get financial assistance online through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
