Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, who is presently Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Division, has been promoted as Deputy Managing Director (Deputy MD) by the bank .  Singh has 29 years of deep experience in various sectors in banking services.

State Bank of India (SBI) promoted a total of 14 Chief General Managers across the country as Deputy Managing Directors.  Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh joined the bank in 1991 as a probationary officer and during his brilliant service he has worked in the bank in important areas like retail banking, corporate loans, human resources, international banking etc.  Singh currently heads the Chandigarh division of the bank, which comprises 3 states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and 3 union territories of Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.  Chandigarh Division is the largest Division of State Bank of India in the country with approx
 2000 branches are operational.
 Prior to his current position, he held the position of SEO of the Frankfurt branch in Germany.
