Manika Batra made history in table tennis

Indian athletes are doing quite well in the 2024 Olympics.  Although India has won only one medal so far, it has been doing well in many sports and is expected to win a medal.  In the same vein, Indian women's table tennis player Manika Batra has also made history with her spectacular performance.  She beat the World No. 18 at the Paris Olympics on Monday.  By defeating the Frenchman, she has qualified for the Round of 16, or pre-quarterfinals.  She has also become the first female Indian player to do so.  She has recorded an easy 4-0 win over Prithika Pawade of France.
