9-year-old Atika Mir won the Rotax Challenge International Trophy

9 year old Atika Mir from Kashmir has achieved a new feat by winning the Rotax Challenge International Trophy at the Le Mans Kart International Circuit.  She has become one of the youngest female motorsport drivers in the world.  At this age when kids play with toys, Atika has beaten the big bucks.

 Atika Mir hails from the Nishat area of ​​Srinagar and has become a young female karting sensation.  Her father, Asif Nazir Mir, was India's first National Karting Champion in the year 2000 and it was he who guided Atika.  Atika joined the international karting championship as a professional at the age of 6 and raised the name of India.
