Rajat Sharma elected president of NBDA, the largest body of news channels

India TV chairman and editor-in-chief Rajat Sharma has been elected as the chairman of the NBDA, the largest body of news channels.  NBDA (The News Broadcasters and Digital Association) is the largest organization of news broadcasters in India, comprising almost all major news networks. 

 The election was unanimous during the NBDA board meeting.  Aaj Tak, TV Today, Network TV 18, Zee News, NDTV, Sun TV, News 24, ETV and Matribhumi were present in the meeting .
