The 64th International Sugar Organization Council meeting commenced on 25 June 2024 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Delegates from more than 30 countries and representatives from several international organizations are expected to participate in the meeting, scheduled for June 25-27, 2024, to discuss issues related to the sugar industry and the biofuel sectors.
Last year, India was elected president of the International Sugar Council for 2024 at the 63rd International Sugar Organization Council meeting in London.
As Chairman, India is hosting the 64th International Sugar Organization Council Meeting.
The 64th International Sugar Organization Council was hosted by Sanjeev Chopra, Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India and President, International Sugar Council.
