Distinguished scientist C G Karhadkar on Friday assumed office as the director of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam. He took charge from B Venkatraman, who superannuated on Friday.
Karhadkar was earlier the director of the reactor group at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai.
Karhadkar completed his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in the year 1987. He graduated from the 31st batch of BARC Training School, Mumbai.
