Claudia Scheinbaum elected first female president of Mexico

Climate scientist Claudia Sheinbaum has made history by winning the Mexican Election Results.  Claudia Schinbaum at the same time achieved the distinction of becoming Mexico's first female president.
Not only that, Scheinbaum, 61, has won the highest vote percentage in the history of Mexican democracy.  She received 58.8 per cent of the vote after 82 per cent of the votes were counted.  Scheinbaum previously served as mayor of Mexico City.
