Pradeep Kumar Tripathi becomes Lokpal Secretary

The Center has made a major reshuffle at the secretary level on Monday.  Senior bureaucrat Pradeep Kumar Tripathi has been appointed as Lokpal Secretary.  Besides him, the Union Government has appointed Border Management Secretary Raj Kumar Goyal as Secretary, Justice Department under the Law and Justice Ministry.  
Senior IAS officer Pradeep Kumar Tripathi has been appointed as Lokpal Secretary.  Tripathi, a 1987 batch IAS officer, is currently the Coordination Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.  Tripathi is set to retire next month.  However, he has been given the appointment for two years.  After retirement on June 30, he will serve as Lokpal Secretary on a two-year contract basis under the general rules of re-appointment of the central government, according to an order issued by the Union Personnel Ministry.
