Army Chief General Manoj Pandey gets service extension

Army Chief General Manoj Pandey's term has been extended for one month.  The Cabinet Appointments Committee on Sunday approved the extension of General Pandey's service.  After the extension, Manoj Pandey will remain as the army chief till June 30. Army chief Pandey was due to retire on May 31 but was given an extension before that.
