ITC MD Sanjeev Puri has been elected as CII president for 2024-25

ITC Chairman and Managing Director, Sanjeev Puri has been elected as the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for 2024-25.  Sanjeev Puri will replace R Dinesh, chairman, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, as chairman of CII.

 Rajeev Memani has been appointed as the new president-designate, and R Mukundan has been elected as the new vice president of CII for 2024-25.

 Sanjeev Puri is currently the Chairman and Managing Director of ITC Limited.  Sanjeev Puri is an alumnus of IIT, Kanpur and Wharton School of Business, USA.

 He was appointed Chairman of the Expert Group on Agricultural Exports constituted by the 15th Finance Commission.  He has also been a member of the Policy Commission Group on 'Farm to Table-Digitalizing India's Agriculture Sector'.
