Mausumi Chakraborty becomes new Director General of All India Radio

Senior Indian Information Service (IIS) officer Mausumi Chakraborty has been appointed Director General (News) of All India Radio (AIR). 
 Mausumi Chakraborty replaced Vasudha Gupta, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry said.  The ministry notified the appointments on March 16,  Mausumi Chakraborty is a 1991 batch Indian Information Service officer.
